Banned YouTube, A Letter to My Govt.

Dear Govt.

I understand the frustration and the hype of that film which almost started the third world war all over the planet, I don’t support it at all, it’s a sign of disrespecting a particular culture, their emotive link of religion and on top of everything breaking of the conduct of media where in most countries legislation, it is not considered as a good gesture, being hurtful to a group of people through their creation, publication and/or design.

At the same time, I personally never support this violation, killing, burning and smashing spree from the protestors, an act which could be taken in motion with much diplomatic, peaceful and mature way. This is the second time in my lifetime this has happened, before this the Cartoon of Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) drawn by the Dutch artist started similar social instability.
The reason of all these words I am using here is to let you know that I never seen that cartoon, nor the recent film of the prophet, I am a Muslim and I bring no harm to my religion, neither I ever learned in practice to bring misery to any other religious individual. The power of ignore, sometime is a solution, no matter what we end up burning, no matter who we end up killing, they will keep producing these films, cartoons or graphics. If we just constrain ourselves from not watching it, reading it or even confront it; there will be no reason for us to promote violence.

So, I strongly believe, despite these entire social disputes, blocking a site shall not resolve anything, especially for those who never aren’t interested watching something like that film, trust me Govt. there is a large group of people thinks it the exact same way.

Sincerely
A Muslim Citizen
